With a beautiful view out over meadows and forests, Hof Averbeck is situated in the midst of pure, unspoilt natural surroundings. The farm was first mentioned as early as 1375 and crops are still grown on the land today and the forests cultivated.

 

Our "Landhaus” has been open to guests seeking rest and relaxation for more than twenty years now. We cater to families who want to experience their holidays on a farm. To weekenders who want to explore the Heath. To groups who want to spend a few enjoyable days together with their friends. Or to business people who want to relax in a serene environment, after a busy day on the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, for example.

 

It’s not unusual for a short stay to suddenly last longer than originally planned. And there are many different reasons. Some guests are particularly impressed by the farm environment with all its flora and fauna, which often proves to be not only very educational, but very imposing and exciting at the same time.

 

Others appreciate the serenity of the rural atmosphere surrounding our "Landhaus”: you can just sit and talk over a good glass of wine in front of our fireplace. Or enjoy reading a good book in the hunters’ room. Or lie back and relax on a lawn chair in our charming farmer’s gardens. And the delicious, hearty breakfast we serve is very likely to be another reason for many.

 

But the friendly family atmosphere and our personal style are the most important reasons why our guests keep coming back.
